Going to the dogs

This place is going to the dogs… well at least I went to the dogs!

I was on a location shoot for Bicycle Outlet last week and the bike shop has a “shop dog”. Who does not enjoy a store that has a resident dog?

Bicycles are cool and taking photos of products is really fun but there is something about photos of a dog that will make you happy!

in Print!

After all these years of working as a photographer I still get excited to see my work in print, I simply love what I do and it makes me happy.

Even after having worked for many publications I still can’t wait to see the next issue of a magazine that will be running one or more of my photographs, It is an honor that I don’t take lightly!

This month has been especially good for me, I have a calendar shot for a large fire truck manufacture and 3 photos in a fire fighting magazine that was for their special summer expo issue.  I also signed off on a few other photographs to be used in a buyers guide of specialty equipment and one for a bee keeping company.

Shooting images for magazines, and products for company’s can be very demanding, but I like the challenge of it all. Tight turn around and big expectations from clients add fuel to the excitement and challenge.

I will leave you with an image that is currently out in Fire Chief magazine. I shot this at a house fire right here in the Ozarks.fire rescue mag

busy weeks

The last few weeks have just been a bit busy for me. Among other sessions the highlights where that I spent 3 days in Nixa working with the Nixa Fire service, a few head shots for the Missouri Ozarks community hospital, I met with a few more clients as well as had a great conversation with Fire Chief magazine. I will be having some photos published in the next issue of that publication. it is always an honor to have my work featured with them.

I finished out the day by booking a local sports store for some lifestyle photography and making final prep for tomorrow mornings photo session of a house under construction and putting some final edits to rest from this mornings session with Battlefield Fire.  Now what photo to put here?298A9547

It was great to work with the crews from Nixa fire department this past week.   Did you know Greenbox photography works with more fire departments then any other photographer in the Springfield metro. There is a reason that more professional services call Greenbox, stop by the studio and see why!

summer engagements and weddings!

Late spring and early summer is often the time of engagements sessions and weddings.  Traditionally Greenbox photography has stayed out of the wedding market, but with the addition of staff we are better prepared to cover your special day.  We are now booking very limited wedding sessions!

If you are planning a wedding and are looking for photography quotes, options or recommendations of other photographers if we don’t fit your needs ( we are professionals and know when and who to recommend if we can’t do the work) we will be happy to speak with you! 417-812-6206

Added staff?

Has your office recently added new staff? Active Life Chiropractic in Springfield has. Dr. Cait is new to the Active Life staff , They called me in to get her staff photo so they could get out press releases, Bio info up on their web site and get the patient base familiar with her before she has even met many of them.

If you are adding staff, going to add staff or just need updated photos give me a call and let me help you with the process, I can be on site as not to reduce production time and having me on site also makes everyone feel more comfortable and provides a much better photo.

Estate photography

Spring is home sales season, or so it has been for many of the listing agents I currently work for.  I often get to work for Brain Rigby of B.A. Rigby auctions. Brain does not just take average property’s into his portfolio, he moves dream homes. Monday of this week I was with Brian Rigby and Roger Jared (video producer/drone flyer) as we covered this exciting property outside of Branson. what a treat for a photographer to cover!pool pano

Senior portrait sessions

My phone has been ringing with Senior portrait request and I like it. I really enjoy working with these “kids” as they transition into college “kids”.logo

Spring is off to a wild start

I have been just covered over in photography these last few weeks, I have senior, Corporate, family and estate stacked up on my hard drive awaiting editing.  This does not mean that I don’t have time for your photos or that you will be waiting a month to get them back either. In fact I have been typically turning around photo sessions within 3 days on average!

I still have time for last minute senior sessions, so if you have not had your high school senior session photos taken yet just give me a call.

Slow to update

I have been so busy as of late that I a, slow to update the web site. So what is keeping me busy? baby sessions, a lot of Senior sessions and of course corporate work.

This last week was a blur, by Friday I was worn out but had to finish the week out strong by working a few hours at a Springfield public school, then I went to South East Kansas for a senior photo session that had 3 different locations in that session. By the time I got home I was spent.

Back at it this week and no signs of slowing down, So be sure to call and get your session on the books as slots are filling up fast.

I have so many photos from these sessions, but I can only choose one per blog post.. I think this one will be a good fit for the page!298A4748
